The Rebuild VA grant FAQ provides insight into the eligibility criteria, application status, and additional information about the grant. Businesses with 250 or fewer employees or with gross revenue of $10 million or less that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 are eligible. To check application status, users should log into the portal with their original username and password. If the application status is “Incomplete,” the user needs to follow certain steps to submit it. The FAQ also covers issues like being locked out of the portal, when to expect payment, and how to update applications or add more documentation. There is currently no deadline for applying, but the grant program will end once all funds are deployed. Receiving a Rebuild VA grant has tax consequences, so recipients are advised to consult a tax advisor. Lastly, the grant does not have to be paid back and there are no follow-up requirements if the application is approved.
