Start Peninsula will host its third Micro Pitch event on Wednesday, September 17, featuring ten innovative local startups competing for exposure, funding, and mentorship. Three judges will evaluate the presentations, with the top three finalists winning $500 each and earning a chance to compete for $5,000 in the November finals.

The ten companies pitching at Micro Pitch 3 are:

  • StewTech – developing a device that measures screws of various diameters, pitches, and lengths. The device uploads screw information to an app and recommends vendors for purchase, simplifying an everyday problem for makers, builders, and DIY enthusiasts. • Southern Belle Fungus – educating the community on mushrooms, including identification, cultivation, and health benefits; previously featured on The Fervent Four Show.

  • Zector Technology – developing robots that plant seeds, water plants, and monitor soil moisture, automating gardening and responding to real-world problems through user-inspired technology.
