What if the next company you work for, invest in, buy from—or tell everyone about six months from now—is already being built in your backyard?
On September 17, Virginia Cup returns to the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, bringing hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, students and curious people together for one night focused on what Virginia is building next.
Ten of Virginia’s most promising high-growth companies will compete live on stage.
But Virginia Cup is about much more than who wins.
What will you find?
Maybe it’s your next customer.
Maybe you discover a Virginia company you never knew existed and realize you want to work there.
Maybe you find your next investment.
Maybe you meet a future business partner, collaborator—or your new best friend.
Or maybe you just like seeing cool stuff being built.
Virginia Cup puts hundreds of people interested in business, technology, entrepreneurship and the future of Virginia in the same room—and creates an opportunity to discover something before everyone else does.
The companies taking the stage are building products, solving problems, creating jobs and pursuing opportunities across the Commonwealth. On September 17, you get to see ten of them up close.
And the pitches are only part of the night.
There will be surprises. There will be experiences between the pitches. And there are still a few things about this year’s Virginia Cup we aren’t revealing yet.
The day begins from 3–5 PM with the official Virginia Cup Pre-Party at The HIVE, before everyone heads across the street for the main event at the Sandler Center from 5–8 PM.
Come looking for customers.
Come looking for an investment.
Come looking for your next job.
Come looking for your people.
Or come without knowing exactly what you’re looking for.
You never know what you might find.
Organized by Innovate Hampton Roads and presented by Virginia Beach Economic Development and The HIVE, Virginia Cup brings companies, entrepreneurs, investors and innovators from across the Commonwealth together for one of Virginia’s biggest celebrations of what’s being built next.
