ART FOR THE MIND: Mental Health as an Artistic Practice

Loading Events

Designed for anyone curious about creative self-reflection, including actors, theatre-makers, and artists of all kinds, this hands-on visual art workshop explores how life experience shapes the art we make. Through drawing, collage, and group-making, participants will reflect on what we carry, what we keep, and what we leave in the community. Led by Kim McCoy, MS, ATR-P (Provisional Registered Art Therapist), visual artist, and musician, the workshop offers a creative, reflective experience with therapeutic benefits. This is not a clinical therapy session. Free and open to the public, with pre-registration required. – https://www.facebook.com/events/28321893524162893/?rdid=4h815I2yc9hi7m0d&share_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fshare%2F19eTbMV4s8%2F#
