AUVSI Hampton Roads is pleased to hold its first luncheon at Christopher Newport University, hosted by Dr. Toni Riedl, with featured participation from the Virginia Institute for Spaceflight and Autonomy (VISA) at Old Dominion University.
The luncheon will highlight CNU’s Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC) and its growing role in engineering, robotics, autonomous systems, UAS-related research, and student talent development, along with ODU VISA’s work in modeling, simulation, autonomy, and operational validation.
The event will bring together leaders and stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and the unmanned systems community to discuss how Hampton Roads can continue building the talent, research, and technical foundation needed for future aviation and autonomous systems capabilities.
