The Dept. of Defense has been undergoing changes in their innovation system over the past several years. Join this virtual training and learn the goals and initiatives of several of DOD’s rebranded funding/innovation components. Our DOD expert will review DOD’s mission and provide an overview of all DOD components. AFWERX, SPARTN, SOFWERX, xTechsearch, etc… all have different focus, eligibility requirements and solicitation deadlines.  Some of these programs have special “open topics” where you submit your ideas. Some programs are specifically seeking non-traditional businesses who don’t currently engage with the DOD – find out what they are looking form, learn which ones participate in the SBIR/STTR programs, how the components differ and how to find open BAA’s and deadlines.
