The Virginia MBDA Business Center helps Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) gain greater access to contracts, markets, and capital on the Federal/State/Local Government level, and Commercial space. Our Center delivers strategic business consulting and technical assistance programs to help develop sustainable and financially stronger MBEs. We manage relationships and sources of deals by promoting the interests of MBEs; educating MBEs on the benefits of strategic growth alternatives (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, and/or joint ventures); and providing service referrals to MBEs of all sizes. Our Center is staffed with seasoned Business Consultants that provide business development services to promote growth and global competitiveness of MBEs.
Our Minority Business Development Agency’s (MBDA) Headquarters office awarded our Operators, the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC), $3M over the next four years, to run the Capital Readiness Program. CRMSDC will create an ecosystem to provide technical assistance to advance and improve capital readiness for socially & economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDIs). This initiative will include collaboration with our strategic partners to include a host of HBCUs, MSI’s and capital access providers across the region.
