One-hour introduction to Seed Capital Activator, from Bloom Coworking with the Hampton Roads SBDC. It is a 16-week accelerator for established businesses preparing for the next stage of growth. Covers traditional and alternative funding, a lender-ready financial foundation, and a tailored funding plan, plus a chance at a $1,000 grant at the end of the program. The info session covers next steps and how to apply for the January 2027 cohort (every other Tuesday; at least 6 of 8 sessions for grant eligibility). Requirements include about $40,000 or more in yearly revenue, one or more years in business, a business plan, an up-to-date profit and loss statement, and a $100 program fee if selected.
