And today, we’re thrilled to share an opportunity that’s tailor-made for you: the Fall 2025 Venture Acceleration Program at the William & Mary Entrepreneurship Hub is officially accepting applications!
If you’ve been following our stories, you know the W&M Entrepreneurship Hub has been a game-changer since its inception. As the beating heart of entrepreneurial education at William & Mary, the Hub has empowered over 576 unique students from 39 majors in just the past academic year alone—think computer science whizzes, MBA trailblazers, and even psychology innovators turning ideas into impact. With 3,642 engagements through events, internships, and mentor connections, it’s not just about starting businesses; it’s about fostering an “entrepreneurial thinking” mindset that tackles real-world challenges head-on. We’ve seen this Hub catalyze ventures that ripple through our local economy, from sustainable tech startups in the Peninsula to creative solutions addressing coastal resilience in the Southside.
Now, building on that momentum, the Venture Acceleration Program is your fast-track to scaling up. This six-week accelerator, kicking off on October 14, 2025, is designed specifically for early-stage ventures that have nailed initial traction and are primed for explosive growth. Imagine diving into hands-on mentorship from seasoned industry experts who know the ins and outs of Hampton Roads’ unique market. You’ll tackle targeted workshops on funding strategies, killer marketing tactics, sales mastery, and streamlined operations—all in a peer-driven environment that sharpens your strategy and accelerates your progress.But here’s what really sets this apart: the chance to compete for $6,000 in cash and in-kind awards for top performers. Whether you’re a solo founder bootstrapping from your garage or a team innovating in health tech, this program connects you to regional resources that can supercharge your trajectory. We’re talking dedicated support to refine your pitch, build lasting networks, and drive tangible growth—all while contributing to the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that’s putting Hampton Roads on the national map.
